Santa Cruz Bake & Gather is a community event centered around a shared love of baking, connection, and gathering around the table.

Hi, I’m Georgia, a Santa Cruz local who loves all things community and baking. Inspired by the San Francisco Cake Picnic, I started Santa Cruz Bake & Gather as a way to bring people together in a simple, joyful way. There is something special about homemade desserts and the conversations that naturally happen when people gather to share them.

After meeting so many enthusiastic bakers and wonderful members of the Santa Cruz community, it became clear that this was something worth continuing.

Santa Cruz Bake & Gather is a friendly cake and pie potluck where everyone is welcome. Whether you are an experienced baker or just giving it your best shot, this event is about sharing recipes, enjoying great desserts, and meeting your neighbors. No competition, no pressure, just good food and good company.

Santa Cruz Bake & Gather is a free event and open to all. Tickets are available at no cost through Eventbrite. While donations are never required, they are deeply appreciated and help cover venue and event costs. Contributions can be made during ticket registration on Eventbrite or through our donation page.

Our goal is simple. To build community one slice at a time.
